Nurse Consultant
Research and Planning Consultants, LP provides healthcare consulting and litigation support to a national clientele. We have an opening for a nurse consultant to be part of our consulting team. The consultant will be involved in a wide range of project activities including regulatory research, medical records review, life care planning, market research and health policy research. Candidates should be registered nurses. A bachelor’s degree is required and a graduate degree is preferred. The position requires good writing skills and the ability to work on several project teams at the same time. Salary and bonus based on experience and productivity.

Research Analyst
Research & Planning Consultants, LP (RPC) provides healthcare consulting services to hospitals and other healthcare providers nationwide. These services include economic, financial and market feasibility analysis most often applied in Certificate of Need proceedings and litigation support.
Our research analysts gather, analyze, and interpret health care data and information. Analysts are responsible for both quantitative and qualitative research and managing the organization of materials to support consulting projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with an academic concentration in Statistics, Economics, IT, or related quantitative disciplines:
• Demonstrated quantitative analysis and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or a genuine interest in database management.

Consultant
Research & Planning Consultants, LP (RPC) provides healthcare consulting services to hospitals and other healthcare providers nationwide. These services include economic, financial and market feasibility analysis, most often used in Certificate of Need proceedings, and litigation support.
Our consultants manage multiple projects that demand strong analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. Consultants must be able to work independently and take projects from start to completion.

Requirements:

• MBA, MHA or a masters degree in a related discipline
• 2-5 years experience in a healthcare planning and decision support or healthcare planning consulting environment. Experience in quantitative analysis and information technology is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of health planning concepts and forecasting.
• Experience using health data such as discharge data and Medicare Cost Reports.
• Demonstrated quantitative analysis and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2000 or a genuine interest in database management.
