Biography

Eben Fetters is a principal consultant and practice leader for healthcare consulting for Research & Planning Consultants. He has more than 30 years experience in hospital management, serving in senior executive positions with hospitals in Arizona, Texas, New Jersey and Louisiana. He most recently served as vice president of business development for a 350-bed, not-for-profit, teaching hospital in Louisiana. While there, he increased market share by 50 percent and more than doubled revenue. He also developed successful strategic initiatives and business plans and managed implementation of new services, such as a Wound Healing Center, a Diabetes Center, a Neurosciences Center, and a PET/Gamma Knife Center. His experience includes healthcare planning, strategy development, service line development, mergers and acquisitions, hospital/physician relationships, certificate of need and long-term care business development. A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Eben is also a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and the Forum for Healthcare Strategists.
