Research & Planning Consultants, LP has an immediate opening for an experienced life care planner with testimony experience. We can structure the position as full-time employment, part-time employment, or as a contractor based on the Applicant’s preferences.
Job Responsibilities: Preparing expert reports for personal injury and employment litigation and providing expert testimony at deposition and trial. RPC works with plaintiffs and defendants. Work for defendants involves analyzing the plaintiff’s life care plan and developing independent recommendations.
RPC life care planners are supported by full-time nurse consultants who summarize medical records, certified coders, economists and document production staff. We have a panel of physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and neuropsychologists to provide medical opinions.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a Certified Life Care Planner.
- Applicant must have a Bachelor’s or higher degree, and should have a current license or certification as a registered nurse, physician, psychologist, social worker, counselor, or case manager.
- Applicant must have been offered, accepted, and testified as a life care planner in state or federal court.
- Resident of Texas or adjacent state.
